Appearing on Jimmy Fallon’s late-night show to promote forthcoming mockumentary Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, Andy Samberg and his Lonely Island cohorts performed a rather alt rendition of their 2009 spoof rap single I’m On A Boat, using classroom instruments to achieve it.

Not a single piece of auto-tune and no T-Pain in sight, this stripped back version of the song about yacht-dwelling rapper antics sees Samberg hitting a pair of flip flops together while the rest of the gang grapple with rubber duck maracas, xylophones and kazoos.

Well done chaps, (sailor) hats off to you.
