Let Dove do the donkey work

There’s no question that bathing in protein-rich asses’ milk would nourish even the driest, most polluted skin. But there’s also no question it would be extremely wasteful and – without access to 500 donkeys – somewhat impractical.

Luckily, Dove’s Men+Care range of products for the face provides a more affordable (but equally effective) method for nourishing skin. Each of the three pore-pleasing products aims to repair the damage caused by blunt razors, harsh, alcoholic colognes and the kind of low-grade shower gel that can defile a man’s face faster than Ajax.

Dove Men+Care Face Wash (£4.50) hydrates skin, while its non-greasy Post Shave (£5.50) with provitamin B5 relieves irritation. Finish with the Moisturiser (£9) and its built-in SPF15 sunblock. Not that we’ve entirely given up on asses’ milk – it’s said to be delicious on cornflakes. Now, can someone lend us a donkey (female)?
