What with their pillaging antics in the Middle Ages, the Saxons wouldn't strike us as a likely source of style inspiration for a range of shimmering watches. Whatever their reasons, Larsson & Jennings' latest collection is causing us to see the Germanic tribe in a whole new light.
The latest offering of the Anglo-Swedish watch range sees the group shave a millimetre off their usual casement size, with a gorgeous new slimline 39mm.
Three core styles make up the collection, named after their key colourings: Black combines an angular brushed gold case and bezel, with a gloss black dial detailed with polished gold hands and markers - while Silver gives the same design an all-steel finish. Gold features a brushed gold plated 316L stainless steel case and bezel and a sunray gold dial. All three feature a British or Swedish leather strap (they won't tell us which goes with which).
Black and Silver are available for £315, while Gold's added details nudge the price up to £345. The full range is now available on the Larsson & Jennings site, and will undoubtedly be finding their way onto your Christmas wish list.
