Hugo Boss announces partnership with Man City

Who’s the boss? Was Tony Danza the boss? No, he was the housekeeper, remember? How can you not remember, it had Alyssa Milano in it. Hubba hubba.

Liverpool people like to say boss. They do. Ask them. If they like something, they say its boss. Our Liverpool friend says it anyway.

But, no, we’re not talking about Liverpool. We’re concentrating our gaze 30-odd miles down the M6 in Manchester. On Manchester City in fact. Manchester City are boss (not for Liverpool fans probably). In fact Manchester City are so boss, they’re Hugo Boss (yep, old Steve Coogan joke).

The luxury fashion brand is the new clothing partner of the Man City first team. That means when you see Carlos Tevez looking resplendent in a suit on official club business – you know, travelling to games and all that lark – he’ll be wearing a Hugo Boss suit.

Hugo Boss will also work closely with the Club and players on a range of photo-shoots, video content and money can't buy experiences.

So there you go. As you were people.

He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
