

Now, we thought it was impossible to get a more extravagant gastronomic experience than a Chicken Legend (with salsa) - but apparently we were wrong.
Last week in New York, McDonald's enlisted the services of some world-renowned chefs to make gourmet meals, based on the restaurant's staple offerings. Dale Talde, James Tahhan, Aaron McCargo Jnr and McDonald's culinary expert Jessica Foust all got together to make the dishes below.

1: Pumpkin Spice Biznut (Biscuit/Donut) and Cheesecake
Ingredients: McDonald’s biscuit mix, sauce made with McDonald's pumpkin spice latte syrup

2: Slow-Cooked Beef with Blueberry Pomegranate Sauce and Mac Fry Gnocchi
Ingredients: Beef from McDonald's hamburger patties (though not ground). Gnocchi made from McDonald’s French fries and eggs. Sauce made with McDonald's blueberry pomegranate smoothie base
3: Kung Pao Chicken
Ingredients: McDonald’s chicken McNuggets, sweet and sour sauce, rice wine vinegar, peanuts and iceberg lettuce
4: Bacon Old Fashioned
Ingredients: Bacon from McDonald's Bacon Habanero Ranch Quarter Pounder
5: Tortilla Española with Garlic and Saffron Aioli
Ingredients: McDonald’s hashbrowns, eggs and onions
6: Bold BBQ Chicken
Ingredients: McDonald’s crispy chicken and hashbrowns with chipotle BBQ sauce, espresso, cheddar jack cheese, onions and a fried egg
