Google Can Now Tell You How To Mix Cocktails

"A Manhattan? Obviously I know how to make a Manhattan - what sort of self-respecting modern gent can't? I'll be right back, I just need to fetch some... ice?"

As of now, Google has just become your very own emergency mixology data base.

Thanks to the expanding (and deeply terrifying) applications of Google's Knowledge Graph system, every time you now input the simple request of "How do I make a [insert cocktail" into the search engine, it will provide a simple text guide on making your drink of choice, alongside extended details on ingredients, alcohols, background and suitable drinkware.

You may have started noticing Google's Knowledge Graph come to your aid when searching questions rather than individual topics: a query of "When does Batman vs Superman come out?" will lead with a direct answer (24 March, 2016) before listing the usual Google search results.

The new drink feature for the Knowledge Graph is an indication of just how intelligent Google's search engine is becoming, "learning" that sometimes people are using Google to grab an immediate fact or answer rather than a more extensive list of website results.

We tried "When will Google take over the world?", but we couldn't find a date.
