The quest to artisan and hipsterfy everthing shows no signs of stopping: the latest implement to be converted is the humble toothpick.
A kickstarter by Canadian brand Phood Station aims to get artisan flavoured toothpicks into the marketplace. They're larger than your normal toothpick, and come in ten different flavour combinations - one on the tip, and one on the barrel - including habanero & honey, dill pickle & mustard, raspberry & wasabi, marshmallow & smoke and, of course, kumquat & beet.
2 packs of 32 are yours for just $10 (£5.43) and with just over a day of the kickstarter left, you'd better get in quick. It's already reached its $35,000 target though so, who knows, they could soon be in a store near you.
