Chicken and chocolate. Two of God's finest inventions but, until now, never joined together in holy matrimony.
However, all this is to change due to the vision of one man: Adam Fleishman. He's already founded Unami Burger and 800 Degrees, and his next project is a chocolate-flavoured fried chicken restaurant called, naturally, ChocoChicken, in Los Angeles.
The genius/lunatic has stated, "This isn't mole, traditional fried chicken or even chicken just dipped in chocolate. It is a whole new style of fried chicken that you just have to taste to believe. It’s got the ‘crack factor’ I look for in a great restaurant brand."
It's expected to open in March, with the technique believed to be the infusion of chocolate into the batter before the deep-frying stage and we, for one, are excited about being able to consume a month's calories in one extra value meal.
You can follow Chocochicken on Twitter - stay tuned for further updates.
