A chip shop owner has made a giant deep-fried Ferroro Rocher, weighing 5kg and containing a whopping 25,000 calories - over 10 times the recommended daily calorie intake for a man.
The behemoth is the creation of John Clarkson, owner of Mister Eaters Eating Emporium in Preston, Lancashire and was created after standard-sized deep fried Ferrero Rochers were a hit over Christmas.
John's wife Corinne told the Lancashire Evening Post, "We sourced a secret Ferrero Rocher recipe from America to allow us to make a large quantity and then form it into a large ball...Making the ball was not hard but other steps along the way were more challenging. The fryers had to be filled to maximum capacity to keep the ball buoyant and we had to use oversized equipment at every stage. We have the giant on display and it is creating a lot of interest."
Never mind an ambassador spoiling you, eating this thing could well kill you.
