The death of Britpop is generally associated with the moment Noel Gallagher set foot in 10 Downing Street in 1997: Cool Britannia had simply gone too far - got too bloated, and too big for its boots.

So could this song be the Downing Street moment for the all-conquering EDM? Well, probably not. But it is a new low, low, low point for the genre.

David Guetta recently premiered a clip of his new single at the huge Belgian dance music festival Tomorrowland (brilliantly, the town it takes place in is called Boom) and it's an EDM-ified version of children's song If You're Happy and You Know It Clap Your Hands. Brilliantly and tragically, it sounds exactly as you'd expect, as the adultified lyrics are shouted by collaborators GlowIntheDark over a wind-up build, before the inevitable massive drop.

At the same festival, Steve Aoki put a beat on My Heart Will Go On. Yes that actually happened and if you don't believe us, watch below.

Still, at least David appears to be having a better time at the festival than last year, when he had a sudden existential crisis about what exactly he was doing with his life.

Perhaps he'd suddenly realised he'd left the oven on.

Meanwhile, our favourite DJ moment of the year is still this though.
