Maldives player Ashad Ali Adubarey premiered this cunning 'trip' penalty during a shootout at the end of the third/fourth play-off game for the AFC Challenge Cup.
Appearing to pretend to trip, he then immediately gets up and then plants the penalty past the bemused Afghanistan goalkeeper. Argument has raged about its legality, but the referee allowed it to stand: Maldives went on to win the shootout 9-8.
