We thought flavoured water had got out of hand, but this really takes the biscuit.
We have been alerted to the existence of chocolate chip cookie flavoured sparkling water, apparently manufactured by Cott drinks, and spotted for sale in a Texas supermarket chain. Unlike its biscuity equivalent, it is calorie free, but does include artificial flavouring.
Online reviews have been 'mixed' - it's been mainly compared to a kind of flat cola - although, as it retails at just 50 cents (29p) a bottle, it would be very cheap to come to your own judgement.
If nothing else, we do feel pleased that the cookie monster can now indulge his diet through both solid and liquid mediums.
