We all know Twitter is the place for snide throwaway comments, observations and meaningless lols, all in the space of a meagre 140 characters.

But there's one man out there who thinks very differently to the rest of us. Because everything he does - in his opinion, at least - is art. And that includes his tweets, which he undoubtedly believes are on a par - if not a touch above - the combined works of Shakespeare, Keats and Wordsworth.

After all, he did say (and these are his exact words): "By 50 percent more influential than any other human being. Don’t fuck with me! By 50 percent, dead or alive. By 50 percent for the next thousand years."

So it's only right that his Twitter proclamations are given the delivery they deserve. And Vanity Fair have provided just that, as they enlisted a host of celebrities, including Patrick Stewart, Whoopi Goldberg (not Oprah), Emily Ratajkowski, Will Arnett, to dramatically read Kanye's words.

Behold: the gospel according to Yeezus.
