London fashion label Blood Brother introduce their new capsule for the Selfridges: Music Matters series, a collection that looks back at some of the iconic store’s most successful parties.
In response to the estimated 40% of London’s music venues have closed, Selfridges decided to host a bunch of live gigs alongside music-inspired capsule collections from brands around the world.
London College of Fashion graduates Nicholas Biela and James Waller – the founders of Blood Brother – have kept their influences close to home with a quintessentially London collection consisting of tees, hoodies, and a bag – in a slightly larger than average ‘shotta bag’ style – heavily influenced by early nineties rave culture, featuring acid greens and bright pink, white, blue and black. Graphics also feature a retrospective of rave and club night flyers, including The Labyrinth Club in Dalston – the birthplace of The Prodigy – just up the road from BB’s Shoreditch flagship store.
The collection launches August 14th, available at Selfridges
