Creep forward the Lamborghini 'Blancpain' Gallardo, 199mph of sheer slick. The marriage of Italian car engineering and Swiss watchmaking (founded in 1735 Blancpain are the oldest watckmaker in the world) has resulted in this stunning vehicle powered by a 562bhp V10 engine, capable of 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds. They insist, however, that it offers "one hundred per cent road-going usability".
The limited edition version of the hardcore Superleggera is equipped with Skorpius wheels with yellow-painted brake callipers and carbon-ceramic brake discs. The huge rear wing and engine cover are lifted from the Gallardo racecars, and inside there is black Alcantara with yellow highlights. Prices and the production run have yet to be announced. Why?
