Mario Balotelli doesn’t so much break rules as strap them to a firework and launch out of an upstairs bathroom window.
But then he’s football’s likeable bad boy, the game’s premier prankster, and when not getting into Just William doses of mischief, the Italian’s pretty handy on the ball, too – and now Puma have used it to their advantage.
For its latest ad, Forever Faster, the brand call on all ‘the troublemakers’ to help the brand become the fastest in the world, with Balotelli taking centre stage alongside a hot tub-bounding Usain Bolt and a flock of other - how should we say – individualistic if brilliant athletes.
Those include the luminously dressed Rickie Fowler, fellow pro golfer Lexi Thompson, Man City’s Sergio Aguero and even Ferrari's F1 team, suggesting Puma might already be the fastest sports outfit in the world.
