Here's an eye-opening fact for you: did you know that shark corneas have been used in surgery on humans?

And we thought sharks were only good for their Jaws. Just goes to show you.

The infographic below, created for Clifton Cameras, examines the differences between the human eye, animal eyes and camera lenses in great detail. There are plenty of similarly fascinating stats about animal eyes, too. 

There's also a cool optical illusion that shows you where your blind spot is. It's not quite as mental as #thedress, but it will make you push your nose against your monitor/smartphone, so perhaps you shouldn't try it at work.

Oh, and did you know that dogs can only see in two colours? And as for the animal with the biggest eyeball, well, we're SUCKERS for that particular factoid.
