Your urban survival pack has gained a new essential item - and it's far more useful than a compass. Meet Asics' Exploration Tech pack.

Understanding the brutal pounding a set of shoes can take on your commute/night out, the Japanese label has swapped out the regular mesh toe box on its Gel Saga and Lyte III for a tech-tough nylon weave.

Both models feature colourways that blend in with concrete surrounds, their suede uppers coming in a soft grey. Available for £95 and set to ship on 1 July, you can get your orders in at Soleheaven.com.
