Aldi, everyone’s favourite comeback story (remember when they weren’t the coolest supermarket with great wine?) is stocking some rock-legends-themed cheese for a limited time only. The puniverse has gone into overdrive. Every joke I thought of for this piece is actually a cheese.
The Happy Farms range doesn’t just stop there though, there’s a whole range of 80s hits from the likes of Bonnie Tyler (Total Eclipse of the Harvati), Cyndi Lauper (Girls Just Wanna Have Fontina) and Wham! (Wake Me Up Before You Goat Goat). Personal favourites however, include Throw Some Gouda On Me, and Sweet Cheddar Of Mine.
So why now? Well, ahead of the Grammy awards, OBVIOUSLY. They’re limited edition from 6th February, so head to Aldi now to get your hands on them.
If you need any ideas for next year guys, just let us know:
- Things Can Only Get Feta, D-Ream
- Gouda Woulda Shoulda, Beverley Knight
- Brie, Elvis Costello

- Feta the Devil You Know, Kylie Minogue
- Swiss from a Rose, Seal
OK, we’ll stop now. But this might just be the most fun game ever.
In the meantime, here’s ‘When Love and Hate Collide’ by Def Leppard - not because it refers to cheese, but because it’s a bloody tune.
