We never thought we'd get excited about knitting, but then we never envisaged the trainer industry going bonkers for fibrous footwear.
The war for the knitted crown has gained a new yarn (sorry), with adidas unveiling the CC Primeknit, the latest challenger to Nike's Flyknit series.
Combining its breathable Climachill technology with the Primeknit fabric, the numerous vents and thread holes of the CC Primeknit aim to keep air moving throughout the shoe, helping with heat exchange and the evaporation of unseemly sweat.
Available in red (infared), light onyx (grey) and black (black), these neat running trainers will be making their way to adidas.co.uk in the near future.
