If the overcrowded trainer market was a game (it isn't), with points awarded for use of materials, stylish design and a fresh look (they aren't), adidas would be winning.
Following a summer of modern structures and modified re-releases, the latest release from adidas Originals blends the brand's new obsession with woven fabrics with its classic sporting background.
With an eye on the cold months ahead, the Veritas Mid has been reworked in a two-tone woven mesh in four subdued colour options.
Each of the weaves combines a base black tone with grey, red, blue or (a slightly different) black, incorporating the floating three stripe design from this year's immensely popular ZX Flux. Minimal branding then features on the tongue, while the shoe sits atop a lightweight EVA midsole. Clean, minimal and downright brilliant.
Set to arrive on the adidas online store in the coming months, we think this is Advantage adidas.
