In need of a trainer upgrade? You're in luck. Adidas has just unveiled the latest evolutionary step in its race to creating the perfect trainer.
This webbed beauty is the ZX Flux 2.0, a re-engineering of the ZX 8000 first released way back in 1984. The Flux 2.0 is available in two striking styles: this first model takes the minimal one-piece construction of the new Flux style and changes up the heel design, dropping the heel cage and adding a nubuck quarter overlay with cutout mesh to give the impression of the classic 3 stripes.
The second design tweaks things further still, giving the upper a distinctive breathable organic pattern mesh. Both styles stay true to their running roots and feature a TORSION padded sole.
Available for £70 from adidas' online store, expect a feast of new colourways to arrive in the coming months.
