Mystery act Frank Gamble unveil sleek new track

Who? Frank Gamble

What’s the story? There's nothing like a name to put you off the scent of a new act; no this isn't a new rival to Frank Ocean, or a tribute to the former Sheffield United inside-forward. Instead it's a new musical duo who took their name from a record by Australian jazz guitarist Frank Gambale which they won in a lucky dip auction to own a record from the late J Dilla's personal collection - with the double meaning of the two words appealing to them. So, enough about the name, what about the music? Well, Heart Speaks is a sleek, bass-heavy slice of hugely credible yet also undoubtedly commercial electro soul, instantly bringing to mind the work of another strangely-named duo, AlunaGeorge. Newly signed to the always-excellent PMR records (home to Jessie Ware, Jai Paul and Disclosure) - you need to keep an eye on these guys.

In three words: Sleek electro soul
