In an age of first person shooters and open world games, it's refreshing to see a classic platformer return to court our thumbs.

Ratchet & Clank: Nexus is staggeringly the 10th game from studio Insomniac for the PlayStation 3, treating fans of the duo's Future saga to an epilogue story. Packed with brand new ridiculous weapons, villains and planets, Nexus looks to be a return to form for the series - heaping action on yet more shiny action.

This new launch trailer might convince anyone with a PS3 to splash £19.99 on a title that will happily tide you over until the arrival of the new PS4.
