Serious My Chemical Romance vibes from the new Raf Simons X adidas trainer

Most of us grew out of the emo phase long ago, because your office probably wouldn't allow a black fringe that covers the entirety of your face and a hoodie with lyrics written on it in blood. But there is a way you can now show off your extinct subculture credentials with style and pride: Raf Simons' new adidas collab trainers.

The Matrix Spirit low-top trainer from the cult Belgian designer features a deep red Trefoil logo and laces, amplified by the jet black colour of the overall shoe, which also boasts a canvas and suede lining and Raf Simons branding on the rubber outsole.

If you're not OK because you don't have a pair yet, you can always join the Black (and red) Parade by visiting the Saks site
