If you've managed to get the words and tune of Lady Gypsy out of your head since Ricky Gervais dropped it on Friday, then: 1) you are not human, and 2) please, please tell us how.
In case you can't wait for the release of David Brent: Life On The Road on the 19th August, Gervais has shared some behind-the-scenes action to sustain you.
In a new video, Gervais arrives at Abbey Road to complete the soundtrack for the film, which he describes as: “a musical journey, sort of Americana country rock alt through to modern rap”.
"Even though the songs are funny in context, they’re not comedy songs as such,” says Gervais. “David Brent doesn’t think they’re funny. He thinks they’re important. And actually they’re not terrible songs. And they’re insanely catchy."
The debut David Brent & Foregone Conclusion album will be released on 19 August with the following tracklisting:
1. Ooh La La
2. Native American
