Retro Video Game Showdown

mario-sonic.jpg

Ever wanted to know which retro console star would win in a race? For all those fellow gamers that still can't get over the fact that Sonic and Mario are now 'friends', here's a nifty video that pits the two of them against each other, as well as introducing a cavalcade of old school video game characters for them to take on.

This piece of YouTube brilliance engineered by two Australian brothers, known as Mass Panic Media, recently surfaced with the promise of a sequel. Sit back and enjoy the waves of geek nostalgia. Top marks if you can name them all.
