Are you a fan of things that go bump in the night? Do you giggle at gore? Are you the first to head into the unexplored attic in a new home? Firstly - what the heck is wrong with you? You should get yourself seen to. Secondly - these DVD covers are going to be right up your eerily dark street.

Commissioned by MGM and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment for a batch of special edition DVDs and Blu-rays, the twisted artists of Skuzzles have redesigned the artwork of 13 cult horror films - and by 'cult' we mean 'popular', though some do indeed involve the sinister variety.

The blood-splattered illustrations include brilliant visions of the likes of Carrie, The Amityville Horror and The Silence of the Lambs. Released as something of a Halloween hype machine, you'll have to hunt out these glorious monsters at US stores including Best Buy, Walmart and Target.

Check out our favourite works below.
