TripAdvisor has named the best restaurants in the world

TripAdvisor's sizable impact on travel and tourism shows no sign of slowing down.

With millions of reviews, more star ratings than a McDonald’s staff convention and everyone's dad considering themselves an internationally-recognised travel expert, the sheer size of the website means it's moved far beyond upholding consumer rights at shabby all-inclusives. Now it carries a weight in the high-end world too.

So behold: TripAdvisor's list of the best restaurants in the world, ranked using the countless reviews posted by readers from across the globe.

But before you go digging out that passport and hitting the bureau de change, the UK actually fairs very well, with no less than three making the top 10.

A handy guide to have. Read on for the best.
