Hankering for a beer but don’t want to lose your creative spark? Problem solved.
For too long beer has been viewed as a creative stumbling block; a social lubricant; a liquid procrastinator; a slayer of brain cells. But now comes the Problem Solver, a 7.1 per cent craft IPA designed to “tickle taste buds and brain cells” while giving drinkers a prime boost to the senses.
When marketing agency CP+B Copenhagen and Danish brewery Rocket Brewing got wind of research by University of Illinois professor Jennifer Wiley, who determined a person’s “creative peak” to be when their blood alcohol level reaches 0.075, a point at which they’re less likely to overthink a task, the firms went about making a beer to achieve this state.
Ingeniously, the bottle includes a scale to determine how much of the beer you need to drink based on your body weight. Providing you drink the right amount of this special pale ale, we see no reason why it won’t enhance your creative thinking.
Though at a whopping 7.1 per cent, should you have one bottle too many then we imagine the only problem you'll need to solve is finding your way home.
