What awaits is an endless list of handcrafted flat whites artistically shot to within an inch of their life; a stack of foamy patterns that would put Michelangelo to shame, and generally enough imagery to make you feel even less enthused by your plain old muggy brew.
But with Instagram so awash with coffee shots, knowing how to compile this information could result in a lot of caffeine-related data. So well done Express Vending, a company which has now used hashtags of types of coffee to rank the most 11 types among Instagram users.
Wading through millions of posts, the team has not only compiled the data in one handsome infographic but also added neat minimalist sketches of how the respective drinks are made up.
Bad news for builders though - the hashtag #coffee beats #tea by over 20 million.
Which certainly gives a new meaning to filtered coffee.
