Donut Burger Unveiled

Every time we think that the burger world has peaked, along comes something new to floor us once again.

This time, please stand up for: The Donut Burger.

Brought to us by the same crazed genii at California's Slater's 50/50 restaurant that gave the world the 100% Bacon Burger and the World's Spiciest Burger - so hot that customers have to sign a liability release form - they really have created a work of art this time.

The Donut Burger sees their traditional 50% beef, 50% bacon burger and a sunny-side-up egg sandwiched by two giant donuts. This slice of heaven costs $9.95, though you'd have to factor in the extra bottles of Gaviscon and heightened cholesterol levels to find the true price of eating one of these beasts.

Strawberry Jam comes as an optional side, just in case it's not quite rich enough for you. Astonishing.
