Failing your driving test is a bitter pill to swallow.
Maybe you went up on the curb while attempting a three point turn? Maybe you didn't check for other cars while making that right turn? Or maybe you ended up crashing the car into the ocean? Wait, what?
Over in the Chilean town of Antofagasta, a woman confused the accelerator for the brake and panicked, resulting in the car careering off into the water. The instructor then did what any chivalrous gentleman would do: he escaped, swam to the shore and fled the scene.
Luckily, the woman was rescued by a nearby saleswoman. She was unharmed but understandably in a state of shock.
For every single reason laid out above, she might want to get a new instructor.
