When superheroes meet typography

Since it's still the summer, we're officially allowed to go as superhero-crazy as we like, okay? So after our recent look at superhero ice lollies, now we have an interesting link between comic book saviours and the art of typography.

In the collection ‘Superhero Typographic Classifications', graphic designer Matthew Olin has paired various fonts with superheroes, based on their characteristics.

He draws similarities between typeface and superheroes, linking the delicacy and strength of Script to Spider-Man and ancient drama of Blackletter to Thor.

Typography has never been more interesting. True fact.
