Life's too wrong when Warwick Davis leaves his trusty phone at home.
“Although I have a long-term relationship with my iPhone, it’s on the rocks. I think we need counselling. I went to the theatre recently and deliberately left it at home. After five minutes I felt lost because I like to see what jobs are coming in and then respond straight away. Although, to be fair, I also like playing Speedball 2 — you might remember it, as I do, from the days of the Amiga. It’s still just as addictive.
“I also like gifting apps. I gifted the Elmo app to Ricky [Gervais], because he loves Elmo. Thinking about it, the iPhone is brilliant. Maybe I’m just annoyed because when I was a kid and didn’t know something, I had to ask my dad or look in a book. My kids type it into the phone.”
