Oh f*ck.

In the continuing adventure of Donald Trump Running America into a Dystopian Dictatorship, on Friday the new US President had a massive about-face on banking regulation, signing two new executive actions designed to signal a new era where Wall Street will no longer be shackled by regulations set after the last financial crisis.

That’s right, capitalism just gave itself another raise. Which is fairly ironic considering a large part of Trump’s ‘Crooked Hillary’ agenda during last year’s election focused on what shady deals she might cook up with big banks if she were to make it into the White House.

While perhaps an unsurprising move for a tycoon, the sheer speed of Trump’s massive U-turn wasn’t lost on all Americans, with this Facebook post by Ben Mallicotes swiftly going viral. Measured, insightful, and not mincing his words, he highlights the hypocrisy of those who voted for the bigmouth billionaire instead of Hillary. At time of writing, it’s had over 144,000 shares.

From the forehead-slappingly obvious (“You voted for Trump because of Clinton’s emails. The Trump administration is running its own private email server) to the perturbing (“You voted for Trump because of Clinton’s role in Benghazi. Trump ordered the Yemen raid without adequate intel, and Tweeted about ‘FAKE NEWS’ while Americans died as a result of his carelessness” – referencing a botched raid from last week), it lists the myriad ways supporters of Trump who mistrusted Hillary have been lied to.

“The reality is that you voted for Trump because you got conned,” Ben states, asking that those had the wool pulled over their eyes should “quit insisting the con-man is on their side”.

Forget The Wolf of Wall Street. If this list is anything to go by, Trump’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
