The moon beer is here

Apparently it's out of this world (we're so sorry).

Always fancied yourself as a bit of Buzz Lightyear, but spent your formative years in the pub instead of space camp? Then here's to the way to (sort of) fulfill your dreams while also drowning your sorrows.

Introducing 'Celest-Jewel Ale' (get it?), a beer developed by Delaware brewery, Dogfish Head that contains actual crushed lunar meteorites. Though it sounds a bit weird and potentially deadly, the meteorite dust is steeped in an Oktoberfest ale until it ferments, giving that classic 'moony' taste of minerals and salt.

If you want one, you'll have to hotfoot it to Dogfish Head’s Rehoboth Beach pub, on the Atlantic coast in the US. Yes, we know its far - but it's either that or you pop to the moon and make your own, and we have it on good authority that Delaware's a far shorter flight.
