These headphones are good enough to eat. Well, so long as you’re Pac-Man on a power-up, they are.
That’s because these Namco-baiting beauties flaunt the hallmarks of music label Ghostly International, whose company logo in turn bears an uncanny resemblance to those dastardly spectres of early video gaming.
Striking, right? The cans are the work of Danish headphone brand AIAIAI, already responsible for some truly cool devices, and who even developed a signature sound and special driver/cup pairing for this neat collaboration – you know, in case the cool matte black finish didn't give punters enough of a reason to get geeky over the pair.
To coincide with the launch, Ghostly had three of their artists (Vatican Shadow, Monty Luke, Moors) produce remixes of tracks by Recondite, Shigeto, and Lusine.
And at £180 they’re probably more affordable than most upmarket headphones. Now that really is music to our ears.
