The real Life of Pablo

The first trailer for season two of Netflix's Narcos doesn't hold back

Just when you thought you were out, they pull you back in.

Netflix, that is, debuting the first trailer for the second season of crime epic Narcos, promising another unhealthy dose of critically-acclaimed Colombian crime drama.

Brutal violence, multiple explosions, more than one fine moustache: the trailer does not mess about.

Once again it stars Wagner Moura as legendary drug kingpin Pablo Escobar and Boyd Holbrook as Steve Murphy, the super cop tasked with stopping him. Only this time the US-led special agencies aren’t pussyfooting around – it’s all-out war, summarised best by Murphy: “It’s not a manhunt, it’s an invasion.”

Forget Kanye, if you really want to know the life of Pablo then you'd better make time in your diary for this series.

Narcos: Season 2 is out on Netflix from 2 September
