A coffee grinder in a spoon. A motor bike in a trainer. A computer in a mouse. Only one of these is a proposed invention and... well, if you read the headline, you've just ruined our fun.
While the Mouse-Box may appear unremarkable, what it packs into its palm-hugging case is makes the average smartphone appear comparatively chubby. In a bid to create the ultimate portable computer, Mouse-Box has shrunk the key components of a PC into a fully-function mouse: there's a 1.4 GHz processor, 128GB of storage on a tiny solid state disc, a Wi-Fi receiver, HDMI output, USB point - everything you'd expect from a micro computer.
All you need to run the Mouse-Box is a screen - though a keyboard will probably be quite helpful. As the concept video demonstrates, the Mouse-Box is envisaged as a secondary, personal system you can use at work - albeit with oddly clandestine undertones.
The ambitious team behind Mouse-Box is working on an accompanying mouse pad with an integrated wireless charger, removing the need for extra cables and doubling as a folding carry box. There's no word on a launch date or a funding project, but the team is requesting people spread word of the project in the hopes of finding supporters.
Give it another 10 years and you'll probably be reading this on a computer embedded into your little finger nail.
