Muscle-bound Eastern warriors? Check. Stern brows? Check. Something about avenging a dead mother? You bet. Yep, we've got ourselves a beat'em'up video game trailer.
But this isn't any old beat'em'up - Namco Bandai has lifted the lid on its latest Tekken title, the seventh instalment of a series soon to celebrate its 20th anniversary of broken bones and killer combos.
Flexing its shiny limbs with new graphics powered by the vastly impressive Unreal Engine 4, the trailer hints at Kazuya and Heihachi facing off for yet another climactic battle (will they ever just learn to get along?). Subtitled 'The Final Battle', we may well see one of Tekken's central characters meet their demise... until some force resurrects them for Tekken 8.
More details are set to emerge at San Diego's Comic-Con on 25 July - until then, we'll have to make do with the following moody teaser.
