There's an arcade game in the basement of a pub round the corner from ShortList.com that's so old all the branding has peeled off. We've got no idea what it is, but we're determined to shoot more of the giant ants than high scorer "DATSCORE" if it's the last thing we do this Friday.
Unfortunately for us, the arcade game doesn't appear in this gorgeous KOMBOH series, Amusement field identification kit #001-009. Created by Canada-based Michael Mateyko and Hans Thiessen the series takes in over 30 years of arcade design, cataloguing the unique design features of retro arcades including Pong, Ms. Pac-Man and Donkey Kong.
Prints are available from society6. Unfortunately, they don't come with sound effects.

As Content Director of Shortlist, Marc likes nothing more than to compile endless lists of an evening by candlelight. He started out life as a movie writer for numerous (now defunct) magazines and soon found himself online - editing a gaggle of gadget sites, including TechRadar, Digital Camera World and Tom's Guide UK. At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
