If the fumes of burning rubber weren't highly toxic, we'd recommend you fetch yourself a tyre and some matches - the smells of motorsport are the only stimuli missing from this astonishing Forza Horizon 2 launch trailer.
Following up on their hugely successful open-world racer of 2012, Xbox's racing lead has undergone some serious retuning for its second outing. Over 200 cars will be included in the final game - with additional motors dropping on download on a monthly basis - while the photo-realistic vistas of Southern Europe threaten to stop us from driving anywhere at any great speed.
Rather than following the traditional racing formula of 'select race - select car - drive', Horizon allows players to cruse around its roads in search of organised races and spur-of-the-moment challenges. Thanks to the always-on multiplayer aspects of the game, if you see another driver blazing a trail in your area, a quick tap of a button will offer them a point-to-point challenge. And did we mention the 200+ cars?
Fetch yourself a bib and check out the trailer below.
