Spotify is waging war on Apple in the wake of the latter's announcement that it will be joining the fray of online music-streaming platforms.
Ok, 'war' might be a tad strong - but they have made plans to inform users how to opt out of the 30% surcharge that Apple applies to Spotify Premium.
According to The Verge, Spotify will email its iPhone users detailing how they can save money by downloading through Spotify's own web service as opposed to iTunes.
The email promises a "super simple" switch for users, but leaves out the fact that it will conveniently bring Spotify Premium's price in line with Apple Music.
Let the battle commence. With an appropriately dramatic soundtrack, obviously.
