60 years after his death, the world is yet to move on from the demise of James Dean.
From his impossible style to his electric on-screen performances, it would seem there's not a year that goes by in which we don't ponder what "might have been" had the 24-year-old not taken a drive on 30 September 1955.
It's this crash, and the meteoric rise to fame that proceeded it, that forms the focus of Life - a new biopic about the icon, starring Dane DeHaan (Lawless, Kill Your Darlings) as Dean and Robert Pattinson (those vampire films) as Dennis Stock - a photographer with Life Magazine who was assigned to shoot pictures of the fledgling star.
Edgy, cool, effortless - the reviewers are going to new some new superlatives if the film is anywhere near as good as this trailer.
Life is out on 25 September
