To spread a little Christmas joy (and fear of the inevitable robot uprising), Alphabet-owned Boston Dynamics have put together a seasonal greeting that sees three of their advanced BigDog robots don antlers, with one pulling a sleigh around their base of operations.
The BigDog's proposed uses include helping military personnel carry heavy payloads in the field, and over terrain that wheeled or tracked vehicles find unstable - or in this instance, pulling Christmas-themed carts in an effort to appear less sinister.
It doesn't work.
