

We used to be meticulous when it came to maxing out games. We'd spend hours hunting every inch of a dungeon for that illusive item, crawl around the city trying to find that blasted hidden room to inch our "Game complete" score to 100%. Then we discovered there was more to life, like steak and Breaking Bad.
Dead Rising 3 is set to be the first game for many years we might actually try to complete in entirety - not because we want to get a kick out of bragging (though we totally will), but because of... well, Mega Man X.
Anyone who completes Dear Rising 3 will unlock a rather neat Mega Man X costume for subsequent playthroughs - a similar extra to one included in 2006's original title. But for the truly die-hard (in the literal sense), complete the game on its hardest Nightmare mode and you'll earn yourself the X-Buster arm - which appears quite useful to for taking down the undead.
No, it's not quite as cool as a new Mega Man game (the gods of Kickstarter are sorting that out), but at least Capcom know how to sprinkle a little fun heritage into their titles. Check out how much fun you can have in the following video:
