Over the years, things must have been pretty hard for Bowser. He had to try and motivate an army of mushrooms, ghosts and piranha plants to devote their lives to destroying an overweight plumber.
An overweight plumber who was just trying to save a princess, albeit one that would later smugly relish in beating him in a race.
So these propaganda posters would surely have been indispensable to him, had they existed in the Mario world. The images help stir up some feelings amongst the drones and paint poor Mario as the bad guy.
Although to be fair, we've only really seen this battle from one side so who knows the real story...
