Huge space guns? Check. Classic rock soundtrack. Check. Two minutes of live action brilliance directed by a Hollywood heavyweight? Yep, Destiny isn't messing about.
In a shameless, brilliant move to stoke the title's hype before its launch on 9 September, Bungie has teamed up with Joseph Kosinski (Oblivion, TRON: Legacy) to create a live-action short - Become Legend.
Following a Fireteam of Guardians in a buddy-comedy trip across the solar system, the trailer might not use in-game graphics or depict combat in a totally accurate fashion, but succeeds in revelling in the social fun that Bungie's sprawling sci-fi adventure hopes to offer gamers.
Check out the trailer below, and be sure to check in on ShortList.com for some very exciting Destiny exclusives on 8 September.

At Shortlist you'll find him mostly writing about movies and tech, so no change there then.
