Aaaaah yes. Windows 95. An operating system from a simpler time, when 'killer apps' were MS Paint and Solitaire, and you only used a computer for useful stuff like word processing. 

Instagram obviously couldn't have existed in 1995: photos were taken with proper film cameras, mobile phones were made by Nokia and no one gave a damn about what your coffee looked like. But that hasn't stopped Russian designer Misha Petrick from allowing her mind to wander down retro avenues, recreating the filter-filled smartphone experience for Microsoft's archaic system.

Here's hoping Instagram adds some 8-bit filters in the near future...
